The Third Party ~ FIASCO!

Over the recent years, I have been doing MUCH outreach to other fellow Conservatives, Libertarians, Republicans, and Christians….among others along the way, and to be certain, there is one thing that they all have in common. They all love AMERICA, our Country. Most of them have no trust for the system any longer, for the parties any longer, or for the people that the parties put forth to represent, “We The People.” In addition, to what I have learned by outreach is that most of the Americans who I know, believe there is an internal problem with the entire election system, and it seems that none of them trust our current President, Barack Obama.
Now, that we have touched on the highlights, let’s dig a little deeper into what we have before us in the coming 5 weeks. We have many opportunities coming with this election, to replace many within the House and Senate to prepare for a better chance of repairing our nation. I highly advise those who care about this nation to know their candidates, to vote as wisely and morally as possible, and to reach out to others while there is still time. Also, I advise prayer.
We, too, have an opportunity to either re-elect Barack Obama or to replace him with Mitt Romney. While there is another candidate that is running 3rd party, historically, that type of misnomer usually has served the purpose of handing the election to the incumbent, who, of course, is Barack Obama, this time. Here is an article from Belief Net that shares some history of what has happened in the more recent times that 3rd party has been voted heavily.
I have heard the arguments, plainly, from those voting 3rd party, and though I understand the mentality and the philosophy of making this POINT and this STAND, I have something that I truly need to say to all my Libertarian friends who intend to vote 3rd party in this election. Please reconsider. Please, on behalf of what is left of this nation, would you please reflect and reconsider making your stance next time instead of this time, when we are not looming over the edge of a precipice, on verge of falling into the abyss? I fully believe that if as many of my friends that intend to vote for Gary Johnson, actually do, that Barack Obama will take this election by default. While I understand that our system is defunct, and it certainly is in need of a total overhaul, I also know that 3rd party voting doesn’t help us, it divides the vote and hurts us. We need to demand that the electorate gives us the kind of candidates we want, but we need to do it in a safe manner. Handing Obama the election by default, is not safe for America.
I understand the convictions of the Patriots out there. I understand them well, because I am one of those patriots. I want nothing more than to restore OUR REPUBLIC, just as they do. I want nothing more than the continued opportunity to do so, and it concerns me greatly that these same patriots do NOT see the importance of removing the mini-tyrant currently occupying our White House. Instead, all they see is the larger picture, and they fail to recognize the mini-battles that we must stand UNITED on, or else we all lose.
I cannot say that I know one person who wanted Mitt Romney to get the party’s nomination. This is not to say that the MEDIA did not taut him as the winner and the only one with a chance from the beginning, but there again, this is the media (the 4th arm, by default)….of the government. Now that ROMNEY is the nominee and he has chosen Paul RYAN as his running mate, this is the only choice I see that will help to oust the sitting president. A vote for Gary Johnson or any other person at this time, is basically throwing away your vote, if you already recognize the system for what it is. By voting 3rd party, you also increase the chance of Obama remaining in office, as by dividing the vote on the Republican side, you will all but assure that Mr. Obama will continue another term. Please RECONSIDER. Please re-evaluate your reasons for making the decisions you are. Our Posterity, our future, and our nation may well hang in the proverbial balance if we continue as we are with the apologist in chief.

In addition to what is said within that missive from Third World Traveler, I would like to add, that our system is so far flung from the original intent by our Founders, as the system was never meant to be so difficult to enter. Those among us who wished to enter service to this nation, were encouraged to do so, back in the days of our beginning, but today the sheer hoops, regulations, and debacle of the whole dog and pony show makes it all but impossible for an “Ordinary Citizen” to do little more than effect the local governments around them. I can think of many great Americans who would make better Presidents for this nation than we have seen in decades. I don’t see how any of them could get into the arena, however, at this juncture. This to me, is a problem, and it is a problem that if we tried, we might be able to effect, on a United front. This nation still belongs to “We The People,” yet few of us truly understand that any longer. This too, is a CORRECTABLE problem. We need more voices in the wind, and we need a plan.
I truly believe that what we may have coming is a 3rd Party Fiasco that is quite possibly going to serve to divide the Republican vote and by sheer default hand this election to our current, failed president. I pray today that this is not so. I pray that GOD will move the hearts and minds of men and women.
To close, I simply ask that you please join me in praying for our nation and her patriots.

Help us to know that we walk with YOU, and that You are helping us to defeat the minion mini tyrant in OUR White House. Thank You so much, Father for all of Your blessings and for Your help for our country through DIVINE PROVIDENCE through the decades and centuries. Please Father, don’t desert those among us, who never deserted YOU. We consolidated as one pray this in YOUR MOST precious HOLY NAME. Thank You, In Jesus Name….I pray.”
