The Progressive Movement VS. The Tea Party Movement

It is essential for the American people to understand there are major differences in the movement underway across the nation in recent weeks, called “Occupy Wall Street” (further known as OWS in this article) and the movement called the Tea Party. Those affiliated with OWS for short, are part and parcel of the progressive movement. The simple explanation for “Progress” in this realm is…yes, while they seek progress, we must understand what they are progressing toward….that answer is a totalitarian regime. This is not American. This is an empathetic mindset that fails to impart responsibility, and instead claims that equality should be imparted regardless of individual effort.
America is the land of freedom and individual liberty; to be under a totalitarian regime would be to enslave us all. There would be no more freedom, and there would be no individual sovereign. Progressives believe it is the government’s responsibility to take care of the people in all ways, as they wish to bring about their own idea of utopia. The OWS group believes that big business and success should be punished, and they also believe that the rich owe them and the rest of America something.
The Tea Party is the antithesis to this group that are called “Occupiers.” The Tea Party is about restoration of original constitutional principles and intent. They are about individual freedoms, liberties and individual sovereignty. The Tea Party is pro-capitalism. Essentially, these two groups are juxtaposed to each other in their desires. One of them is pro-America and pro-Constitution, and the other is pro-Progressivism and anti-Constitution.
We all need to clearly understand that our current administration is pro-Occupiers and anti-Tea Party. This administration has purposefully been heading us off the cliff in order to create a need for our willingness to submit to their totalitarian desires. It has been successful enough to bring out those we see sleeping on the street now. It has also been successful at the uniting Americans across the land against the agenda a.k.a. the Tea Party. There are many Americans beyond those officially affiliated with the Tea Party who feel strongly about defending our country and our rights, to be certain.
Be aware that those in this group that is against big business, are a huge part of the problem. Business and its success will be the only way in which we will turn this economic disaster around. The mentality of spreading the wealth around, is anti-American. That mentality is socialist in nature. We are all individuals. We all contribute to society differently. We are not cookie cutters of each other. Some of us are great at a few things, while others of us have skill sets for other different things. My skill set might assist you if you need to write something, if you need some mosaic art, or if you need your taxes filed. However, if you are building a bridge downtown, I am not your “Gal Friday.” We should be each rewarded for our individual contribution, not on a scale that is based on equivalence.
Nancy Pelosi talked trash about the Tea Party, but she said yesterday, “God Bless” those who are currently involved in the fray movement that is going on across the nation. Even the Sympathizer in Chief has said that he can understand the group that is out now. Both Pelosi and Obama are Anti-American…..with their support of progressivism and this movement, all while trash talking about the Tea Party, to include calling them “astro-turf” vs. grass roots. This group now, is the effect of Obama’s community organizing.

We the People need to understand that our administration no longer believes in our country, and their goal is to fundamentally transform America. That transformation for them will be control over all facets of our nation, and if they succeed, we will no longer recognize our country. Stay the course, do not back down. Our Founders would expect that we would recognize this Anti-Constitutional movement and that we would thwart it effectively. This is what we must do. Keep on Keeping on, Patriots.
